Alison Edmond is a longtime editorial creative and fashion director with over 25 years experience, based in Los Angeles, overseeing concept, photo and art direction, styling, and content production for magazines, advertising, marketing campaigns across the entertainment, fashion, and music industries, plus custom styling for a select clientele. 

Since May 2024 she has been the Artistic & Fashion Director at The Hollywood Reporter, overseeing all covers, fashion and shoots. In addition, she is an Ambassador for British Fashion in Los Angeles for The British Fashion Council, and a Trustee to the Bazaar Arts / Fashion Fund.

Alison grew up in the North East of England and began her career when hired by Anna Wintour as Art Coordinator of British Vogue. She moved into the fashion department under the editorship of Elizabeth Tilberis and went from assisting to become Mens Fashion Editor.  When Liz Tilberis moved to US Harper's Bazaar, Alison followed as West Coast Editor for the next five years.  Upon her return to London, she was appointed Creative & Fashion Director of Harper’s Bazaar UK, where she subsequently oversaw the creative direction of over one hundred covers and numerous fashion shoots during her 12 year tenure.

She left Bazaar UK to return to Los Angeles when approached by Marie Claire US editor Joanna Coles, and was hired by Nina Garcia as Fashion Editor at Large. Alison continued to work as a contributing editor to Hearst Magazines for ten years, in addition to working with many other publications, and prior to being hired by The Hollywood Reporter was also Art Director for Brad Pitt's brand God's True Cashmere, Executive Creative & Fashion Director of C Magazine, and Head of Creative for online media site MrFeelgood.com.
